About Us

Meet Doctor Leo

Dr. Leo Davidson has been in private practice since 2011. He received his undergraduate degree—a B.A. in Political Science—from Hofstra University, with minors in Pre-Med, History, and Geography. This wide range of academic interests has shaped him into someone who can hold a conversation on many topics.

He then attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, followed by the successful completion of a three-year surgical residency program at Seton Hall University/St. Michael’s Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. St. Michael’s is renowned for its outstanding surgical training, including external fixation and comprehensive training in infectious diseases.

Dr. Davidson is currently a teaching physician in the podiatry residency program at St. Mary’s General Hospital, where he is actively involved in the education of students, residents, and fellows.

Dr. Davidson is fluent in English and Russian. As a father of two human children and two canine companions, he is wonderful with kids and equally attentive to patients of all ages—even if they decide to bring their dog along to check out our digs!

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Davidson enjoys exploring the world and cheering on his beloved Manchester United—whether in front of the TV or at Old Trafford. He firmly believes that a strong result over the weekend is the recipe for a great week ahead. His passion for sports has led him to specialize in podiatric sports medicine. As a result, he is extremely comfortable treating student and adult athletes, having spent years among them—including coaching and serving as team doctor for his son’s soccer and football teams (and yes, you can check out Sebastian’s signed jerseys hanging in our office).
